The Circle works because people are decent to each other. These guidelines apply everywhere on the site: boards, replies, polls, fan content, and news comments.

Be respectful

Disagree with ideas, not people. No harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, or targeting other members based on who they are.

Mark your spoilers and speculation

• Use clear thread titles for game or film spoilers wherever possible.
• Label rumours and personal theories as such, especially in Movie sections - don't present speculation as confirmed fact.

Stay on topic

Post in the board that fits - it helps everyone find and join the right conversations. General chat unrelated to Elden Ring belongs in Off Topic.

No spam or self-promotion

Don't flood the site with repeated posts, unsolicited advertising, or irrelevant links. Sharing your own fan art, guides, or channel is welcome in the right place, in moderation.

Respect copyright

Don't upload or repost copyrighted artwork, leaked material, or content you don't have the right to share. Fan art should be your own work or properly credited.

No illegal content

Nothing illegal, including piracy links, malware, or content exploiting or endangering minors.

Reporting

Use the Report button on any post that breaks these guidelines rather than escalating in the thread. Moderators review reports and may edit, remove, or lock content, and warn, suspend, or ban accounts that repeatedly or seriously breach these rules.

Enforcement

Moderators and administrators use their judgement in applying these guidelines. Serious or repeated breaches can result in an immediate ban without warning.
